Intelligent touchscreen system to enhance customer data collection

Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo modernised its customer service by introducing a touchscreen system called Susa, based on open source code. This innovative system enables the collection and analysis of versatile customer data directly in the store and efficient remote content management. Metatavu carried out a comprehensive survey project, which was designed using service design, ensuring seamless implementation and cost-effectiveness of the system without any license fees.

Starting point

Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo needed a touchscreen system for the customer interface implemented directly in the store, which would enable zero party data collection and analysis as well as efficient content management and presentation.

Measures

The project was implemented using a service design based requirements specification and an interactive prototype. In collaboration with the client, the system needs were identified, the solution was designed and the implementation phase was prepared.
