Table of contents

Metatavu has been growing at a good pace and to strengthen it, Mikko Lampi will take over as CEO of Metatavu on 1 November 2023.
We will continue to strive for success, growth and to be the best digitalisation partner for our customers.
We want to build a future that looks like Metatavu.
Lampi has been Metatavu’s Business and Development Director since September 2019 and a shareholder and member of the Board since autumn 2020.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
Miko has more than 15 years of experience in digitalisation and software industry, including business management, research manager, consultant, solution architect and devaia.

I’m a neo-generalist of digital business in a lot of soup.
I’ve had a great opportunity to grow as part of the Metatavu story and influence what it has become.
Now it’s exciting times ahead to enable new growth and a tremendous place to develop the Metatavu of the future.

Current CEO Jere Lauha will continue to work for Metatavu and will take over responsibility for sales and customer relations.
Lauha has been CEO of Metatavu since 2016.
He will continue as a shareholder and will take Lammi’s place on the company’s board.

The growth rate of Metatavu has been phenomenal so far and it has been great to be part of it.
Mikko has been part of our growth story for over four years now, so I believe that under Mikko’s leadership Metatavu will continue to grow the way we want it to.
I’m also looking forward to doing more sales and customer work again.

Significant growth in recent years

With metal, you’re doing well.
We’ve grown our revenue funding by 50-80% each year.
This year, already in August, turnover showed an increase of more than 40%, even though the busiest times of the year are still ahead.
In the last financial year we achieved approx.
EUR 1.4 million and for the first time in our history we exceeded the one million mark.
Our customer satisfaction is exceptional in the sector.
Our NPS is 89, compared to an average of 44 in the software sector and 42 in IT services.
We also have happy employees.
We are certified as a Great Place to Work and are ranked 9th in Finland in our size category.
Best Place to Work (2022).

Aiming for growth and strategic, controlled and continuous renewal

In the early years, the Metatavu team consisted of three people.
We grew organically in a few years to the current twenty people.
In the summer of 2021, we had the honour of being the first investment of the then newly established South Savo Growth Capital Fund.
The company was founded in the first half of 2014 as the first Finnish Savings Bank to become a new start-up in the first half of the year.
90% of the company is still employee-owned.
Today, we are much more than a traditional software house.
In addition to dev, we do consulting, service design, user experience design and devops.
Our clients represent a wide range of industries from manufacturing, logistics, public sector to higher education and agriculture to healthcare.
We work in areas such as.
ETRA, Osuuskauppa Suur-Savon, City of Helsinki, Järvikylä, Aalto University, Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue Eloisa and many others.
The goal for the near future is to continue organic and controlled growth, recruit a lot more people and improve productivity and profitability.
At the same time, we will maintain our great customer and employee satisfaction.
As we grow, we want to continue to be a low-hierarchical and modern organisation.
In the future, we will be able to serve even larger customers, deliver even more demanding projects and be a reliable and agile partner for our customers.
We promise to be the best digital partner for our customers.
We believe in a fair software business based on trust, business and user orientation, open source and sustainable development.
We help drive business by delivering smart, cost-effective and well-designed digital solutions.
