Streamlining Inventory – Mobile Application Enhanced Poppamies' Warehouse Management

Together with Poppamies, we developed a user-friendly mobile application that supports the entire inventory process from start to finish. The application is based on open-source technologies, ensuring flexibility and full ownership without vendor lock-ins. The first production-ready version of the solution was quickly implemented, allowing the application to be tested in a real-world environment right from the early stages of development.

Starting Point

Poppamies Oy wanted to streamline its semi-annual inventory processes and eliminate manual, time-consuming steps. The goal was to create a solution that simplifies the process, speeds up work, and reduces errors.

Actions

The project focused on usability and clarity. Development proceeded according to an agile sprint model in two-week cycles, enabling close collaboration and continuous refinement of features based on Poppamies’ needs.

Outcome

The result was an application that is easy to maintain and expandable for future development needs – for example, to support other warehouse management functions. With the new mobile application, Poppamies conducts inventories faster and more accurately than before. The solution brought transparency to warehouse management and significantly reduced manual work. Inventory is now smoothly handled on mobile – the work is clearer and faster for all parties involved.
